Sorry for double post, but I just wanted to write that I think the text works differently on different resolutions, and that for me there was a lot of overlapping text in the intro
I managed to get D rank! There is a lot of depth to succeeding, and the characters are charming (especially the deep voices lol)
The clunky controls combined with everything being randomly reversed makes this game feel like a rage game, especially when one is unfamiliar with it, which is quite funny to me lol
These types of games are definitely not my thing, but it works pretty well for what it is! The different drink names are fun and I can see it being quite charming with a bit of polish.
A few points: - The environment is a bit straining on the eyes, I think a tavern setting with some moody orange lighting could work well. - Some ambient background chatter could help drive the setting home as well. - The tutorial was a bit much all at once. When playing game jam games a lot of people tend to skip straight to the game if they see a lot of text so try to be careful with this. - As others mentioned, the debuffs should probably have some sort of indication when they start or end. - It feels a bit finicky to get the customers to accept their drinks sometimes. - It was a little unclear how to make the slug cola at first, perhaps rather than N/A just write "none"? - You can theoretically spam a bunch of drinks of each type right now and then go around serving them to get a really high score.
Overal it needs some polish but there's potential for a good game here. Good luck!
thanks for playing, yeah its hard to get things right without a bit of feedback, definitely a few things to tweak, I have a vod of my playthough with the offline version which adds all the shadows which the web version removes
but yeah difficulty curve from easy to hard is something that seems important
I think replacing slide show for a video tutorial would be a quick and efficient solution
I like the visuals, I enjoy the idea, and I understand the time constraint, and making a tutorial is a lot of time consuming work, but everything is thrown at you all at once an it's tough, the things you carry I accidentally throw all the time, and it's very hard to make the drinks, maybe don't do the reverse controls in the first couple of levels. Maybe start with people who want only drinks you don't have to combine colors for, the game is very tough in its current state. Great job though, it takes a lot to submit a working game to a game jam
thanks man, yeah put the target audience as a streamer rage game, nice play through I can see it made you rage :D , I think i needed to progressively add the difficulty as you mentioned
Damn, this is hard xD. Took me the whole 3 minutes to make one drink the first run, and on second one I only made rank D (20k gold).
Fun concept and visual look great, I liked it.
Having random debuff cycling is a good idea but I really hated those reversing controls. I guess that's kinda the point, but still I'd replace those with something else!
Thanks, yeah its more for something to watch other struggling , probably should put streamer game as target audience, or make them happen less frequently

Great job! The game is highly charming!
thanks for playing, yeah I think the judges were enraged from their review so I think it did its job :D

Nice ahahah, drunk controls are fun, the game surely needs some polish but for a 2 weeks games is not that bad, nicely done !
GG, keep up the good work !
thx man, I think my target audience is more of rage games like jump king from what my reviews are :D
It needs some feedback to the user when the effects happen. Even just playing a sound would be great.
It was fun but made me rage-quit after a while
:D, was funny watching someone play it so I think the drunk controls has done its job, but yeah can do some tweaks after jam
